An ethical and caring approach

Undergoing cosmetic surgery is often a surreal journey, and it’s only natural to feel a mix of nerves and excitement. Through a series of consultations, Dr Cope will work closely with you to address your body concerns and create a surgical plan that suits your one-of-a-kind beauty.

What is breast reduction?

Breast reduction surgery is designed to reduce the size of overly large breasts. This is done by removing excess fat, glandular tissue and skin from the breasts in order to create smaller, lighter, better-shaped breasts that are more proportional with the rest of your body.

This procedure can do wonders in improving self-confidence and alleviating physical strain, often opening up a new world for women who were previously unable to embrace certain aspects of life due to the size of their breasts.

Why consider breast reduction

While larger breasts are coveted by many women, breasts that are overly large can restrict activities and make some women feel extremely self-conscious. In addition, women who have very large, pendulous breasts can also experience a myriad of medical problems, caused by the weight of their breasts.

The most common of these problems include back and neck pain, posture problems, skin irritation, bra strap indentations and rashes under the breasts. If you are experiencing any of these concerns, you are likely an ideal candidate for a breast reduction procedure.

What do our patients have to say?

Nora Pertzel

“I had a breast reduction and lift in August of 2018. The whole experience from beginning to end has been flawless. From reception staff to Dr Cope. He is a consummate professional with a wealth of knowledge and skill. Dr Cope answered all my questions and made sure I understood exactly what was to be expected, every step of the way, from pre surgery to ongoing post op care. As an RN myself, I was impressed with how thorough he was. He put my mind at ease from day 1. I’m extremely happy with my result. For the first time in my life I love the way my breasts look. The only regret I have, is that I waited so long to have them done.”

Marina McCann

“3 years ago I decided to have a breast reduction. Having suffered with large drooping breasts for most of my life, it was time to do something about it. After my initial consultation, all my concerns and worries were swept from my mind. Dr Cope was empathetic and understanding, giving me practical advice regarding appropriate size for my body. Since having the operation, which was overnight and minimal pain with slight discomfort, I no longer suffer with back pain and stress headaches. I am able to exercise comfortably, wear strapless tops and dresses and I have ditched the ‘granny bras’ for more feminine underwear. I highly recommend Dr Cope and will continue to use his services if I need in the future.”
